SBAN Director Lung-Amam Visits White House to Talk Tenant Protections and Affordability
SBAN Director Willow Lung-Amam joined leading housing advocates at the White House to discuss tenant protections and rental affordability policies that can inform Biden’s housing agenda. Seema Agnani, executive director of SBAN member organization National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development, also participated.
As our network members know, residential and commercial gentrification issues are intimately connected. When longtime neighborhood residents or small businesses are displaced, they can no longer rely on each other for revenue, goods and services, employment, gathering spaces, cultural amenities, and social capital.
