Membership

Small Business Anti-Displacement Network (SBAN) members are small business advocates who work at the national level and in neighborhoods and cities across the United States and internationally.

Our members include individuals and nonprofits, government agencies, financial institutions, development firms, and research and policy organizations that support BIPOC- and immigrant-owned small businesses and work to strengthen the communities those businesses serve. Individuals can join SBAN without organizational ties, and an organization can join and provide membership to multiple staff.

SBAN is an active network of peers who share, learn, and strategize. Members meet regularly to share the challenges and successes of their work, learn about anti-displacement tools and strategies, and discuss ways to support small businesses that are vulnerable to gentrification pressures.

SBAN staff and leadership facilitate collaboration and action among diverse stakeholders and produce research, data, and resources on effective small business anti-displacement strategies. Members also help SBAN develop new tools and resources, create member programming, and guide the network’s agenda.
