La Cocina Incubator Kitchen provides affordable commercial kitchen space to talented entrepreneurs and has helped expand economic opportunity to women and people of color as they grow their food-based businesses. New businesses undergo a series of classes in finance, marketing, and operations. La Cocina offers one-on-one mentorship to guide businesses and connect them to various sales opportunities, from catering to farmers’ markets. The program also helps them transition to brick-and-mortar properties.
