Anna Marie Cruz is a manager at ICIC where she supports ecosystem engagement and the Inner City Capital Connections program, a “mini-MBA” for small business owners located in underresourced communities across the U.S. and Canada. Prior to joining ICIC in 2019, she was an SBA Micro and Community Advantage Loan Officer at CDC Small Business Finance where she supported pre-revenue and growing small businesses with loan requests up to $300,000. She has served as a small business coach at API Small Business Collaborative and marketing consultant in Asia at the ILO, a UN agency. Anna Marie has an MBA from the University of Michigan and BA in Sociology from CSU Long Beach. She serves on multiple entrepreneurship advisory boards including SBAN and LA SBDC Network Center. She is also the founder of Entrepinayship, a nascent microenterprise organization serving Filipina, AAPI, and immigrant founders.
