Bobby Boone founded &Access to create equitable retail real estate solutions for small businesses and under-resourced communities. He has created data-driven strategies for over 100 commercial districts/properties nationwide, including market responsive strategies, architectural assessments, funding prioritization, and community training. Bobby brings experience working for international developers, brands, and municipalities of various sizes and scales. He recently launched In-Place, an initiative researching commercial retail displacement and developing an impact investment fund model to preserve space in gentrifying neighborhoods. Bobby shares his love of retail with others as a Howard University, University of Maryland, and Harvard University lecturer and speaker at national conferences. He received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Florida A&M University and a Master of Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati. Bobby is a member of the SBAN leadership team, serving as Senior Practitioner.
