SBAN Leadership Talks Equitable Development in Washington Informer
SBAN Director Dr. Willow Lung-Amam and SBAN Senior Practitioners Bobby Boone and Manuel Ochoa talked with the Washington Informer about how to spend federal infrastructure dollars in the D.C. metro area in ways that preserve and benefit residents and small businesses in under-resourced communities. They highlight the impact infrastructure projects, such as construction of Maryland’s Purple Line light rail, can have on small businesses owned by immigrants and people of color, and the need to support these businesses through the changes.
