Community Fund of North Miami Dade – Opa-locka, FL
The Community Fund of North Miami Dade, established in 2002, is a certified CDFI that provides financial services to low-income communities and people who lack access to conventional financing. The fund promotes financial inclusion and economic development by, among other things, providing small businesses and entrepreneurs in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties with technical assistance, one-on-one counseling, and small business loans. In July 2022, it announced that Formula 1 would provide grants of up to $500,000 to support small businesses in the City of Miami Gardens.
