Maryland Procurement Technical Assistance Center – College Park, MD
The Maryland Procurement Technical Assistance Center (MD PTAC) was established in 2002 to help more small and BIPOC-owned businesses compete in government contracting. Funded in part by the Department of Defense and administered by the Maryland Small Business Development Center, MD PTAC helps businesses understand the requirements of government contracting and gives them the skills to bid on contracts. In addition, the center helps government agencies reach the suppliers they need. Headquartered at the University of Maryland, MD PTAC currently has seven locations throughout the state and serves 24 counties.
