The Georgia Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Business Center helps Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) access capital, increase profitability, and scale their businesses. In addition, the center provides businesses with technical assistance and one-on-one counseling, proposal preparation, mentoring and capacity building to assist businesses with growth and increasing profitability. Businesses can access training, education, capital, and opportunities sourcing via matchmaking events, one-on-one meetings, proposal preparation, bid opportunities, and joint ventures. Affiliated with the Georgia Institute of Technology, the Georgia MBDA is one of 40 similar centers and special projects funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency, which prioritizes serving MBEs that are owned and operated by African Americans, Asian Americans, Hasidic Jews, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, and Pacific Islanders.
