Bianca directs policy and legislative operations in California for Small Business Majority She also directs outreach for Northern California. She builds relationships with small business owners and stakeholders to promote a level playing field for small business owners to compete equitably, to thrive in their local economies, and to provide quality jobs for California workers and entrepreneurs.
Bianca serves on the Board of California Main Streets, on the Steering Committee for the California Asset Building Coalition (CABC), and on the Advisory Group for California’s healthcare exchange, Covered California. Bianca represents Small Business Majority at the California State Senate, Assembly, and the Governor’s Office.
She served as a federal lobbyist for federal labor, trade, healthcare and transportation issues for five years before joining Small Business Majority, and as a legislative aide on Capitol Hill for Attorney General Keith Ellison.
A Fulbright Scholar and Watson Fellow, Larisa has traveled the world studying successful downtown and mixed-use environments. She holds an undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University and a master’s in city planning with a certificate in urban design from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
